Centriq
iOS App
Centriq is a mobile app that helps people get the most out of the products around them. By taking a photo of an item, they can gather all the information needed to use, maintain, and manage it. Product manuals, how-to videos, recall notices, and more are easily stored and accessible in one convenient location.

UX & Visual Design Lead
The creators of Centriq were looking to restructure their initial iOS app from the ground up. Responses to early iterations of their concept were positive, but they wanted to revitalize their brand and streamline their approach to help gain traction with broader audiences.
Through a series of client workshops, we developed a new mental model for creating a digital "home", helping to give audiences a better understanding of how to inventory the items around them.
Our branding concepts centered around this new vision, exploring variations for visual language and interaction models. The result was a consolidated and fluid experience using a swipeable card system. Vivid color emphasized key elements and softer neutrals kept the content lighter, giving iconography and product photography greater impact.
Reducing the steps needed to add items was a primary focal point and a measurable metric for success. Our initial experience audit allowed us to tweak how the process was being presented to different audiences. First-time users now get a richer video experience while experienced users are seeing a more streamlined approach for adding items quickly.
